Homeowners after an extension or refit
The trades have finished and every horizontal surface is still filmed with dust.
Who it is for
The trades have finished and every horizontal surface is still filmed with dust.
The property has to look finished, not like a workshop, before anyone walks through.
The client visit is booked and the finished rooms still show the build.
Variants
The heavy pass: skirtings, frames, wet rooms, floors and the dust film.
A shorter visit once a plumber or electrician has been back through.
Book the heavy clean first. Add a sparkle only when the last fixer has gone.
How the visit runs
The order keeps dust from being wiped into a paste or walked back onto a clean floor.
We separate dust and marks from snags that still belong to the builder.
Small offcuts and packaging go out before they are ground into the floor.
Edges and joinery, then wet rooms, then floors last.
Fine dust shows along sills and kitchen runs when you look along them.
Cost
You receive a quote for this property. Two homes with the same number of rooms can take very different time, so there is no flat price on this page.

Problems
The usual complaint is a house that was wiped and still films white. That is fine plaster or sanding dust, not ordinary housework. People also book us when the kitchen is fitted but the rest of the site is gritty, or when a landlord cannot photograph the rooms.
Before and after
Book after sanding and the wet trades have stopped. Bring furniture back after the clean if you can. Open windows for a few hours so dust still in the air can settle, then a quick vacuum the next morning catches what lands.
A proper first clean should leave the property ready to live in. Dust can reappear for a day as the air settles. If someone drills or sands again, that new film needs another visit. One clean does not survive a further week of cutting.
FAQ
The visit covers fine dust, small debris, kitchens, bathrooms, internal glass, joinery and floors in the rooms on the quote. It is the clean after the trades, not a skip and not a decorating job.
Book it for when sanding, plastering and the main fitting are finished. If a trade still has to return, plan a sparkle afterwards so their dust is not left behind.
The full clean takes the heavy film and debris. A sparkle is the lighter final pass once that film has gone and the last trade has left.
We clean the finished interior. Rubble, soil and bulk waste need a waste carrier. Tell us on the form if the inside is clear.
Often yes, if the trades have truly finished. If people are still cutting and sanding after we leave, dust will return and a second visit is the honest answer.
