Before and after
Prep, and how long it should last
Leave the tape on until we arrive if it is still protecting a surface, and tell us. Do not soak a new floor with a solvent from a shop. After the visit, any remaining mark we flagged is a snag for the decorator, not dirt we missed.
If the dust comes back
Removed spots stay gone. New paint means someone painted again. Tape left in the sun for weeks may leave a shadow in the finish itself. That shadow is not dirt, and we will not scrub the finish off to chase it.

Do you remove paint after builders and decorators?
Yes, spots and light overspray that lift safely from glass, frames, switches and floors. A wall that needs another coat is the decorator’s job. Send a photo if you are unsure.
Can you get tape residue off new frames?
Usually, when we test the product first. Tape that has baked on for a long time takes longer and is priced as its own line, not as a quick wipe.
Will you scrape stickers off a new shower screen?
Yes, when they release without scratching. If a sticker has left a scratch, we will say so. A cloth does not polish a scratch out.
Is this included in a full after construction clean?
A few spots are. Tape on every frame, or a floor of paint flecks, is quoted as this visit so the time is visible. Mention it on the form either way.
What if a mark will not lift?
We stop rather than damage the surface, and we tell you. Cured adhesive in a finish, and scratches, are not sold as a guaranteed removal.
