What people notice first
The glass looks clean until you stand side-on and see a milky film or a row of paint spots. Tracks full of grit are the other sign. Scratches in the pane are damage, not dirt, and we will not pretend a cloth will remove them.
Before and after
Prep, and how long it should last
Stop sanding first, or the glass films again the same day. Tell us about rooflights and stairs. After the visit, leave windows closed for a short while if dusty work is still happening elsewhere, or the film returns.
If the dust comes back
Polished glass stays clear if the dusty work is over. A new film after a sparkie has been back is fresh dust. External salt or rain marks are outside this internal visit unless external glass was quoted.

Questions about Window & Glass Polishing
Do you clean windows after building work?
Yes. Internal glass, frames and tracks are the usual scope, including the plaster film a normal window clean smears. External glass is only included with safe access on the quote.
Can you remove paint from glass?
Small spots that lift safely, yes. A pane spattered edge to edge is extra time and is quoted with paint and adhesive removal. We do not scrape so hard that we scratch the glass.
Are shower screens included?
When they are on the quote. A bathroom-only screen is often booked with the bathroom post-renovation clean. A whole house of glass belongs on this page or inside the full clean.
Will you clean conservatory roofs or high rooflights?
Only if there is safe access we can agree in advance. We do not improvise ladders over a drop. Say what the glass is on the form.
How do you price glass after construction?
On the number of panes, how high they are, screens, and how much paint or film is on them. You receive a quote. We do not publish a price per window.
